Saga Legin, a Hell’s Kitchen native, began his music career as a DJ in NYC clubs like the Mirage (now Terminal 5). His passion for blending beats inspired him to move into producing and songwriting. Influenced by New York greats like Nas, Wu-Tang, and Mobb Deep, Saga’s music fuses hip-hop with R&B and jazz, creating a cinematic and expressive sound. His stage name reflects his artistry: “Saga” symbolizes epic storytelling, while “Legin” is his first name spelled backwards.
Saga’s previous singles such as “Grinding,” “9/11,” and “Our Reality” and reflects his dedication to conscious, story-driven hip-hop. Notably, his career as an audio engineer has connected him to icons like Nicki Minaj, DJ Premier, and Busta Rhymes. From shaping Nicki’s early career to touring with Busta and working on Royce da 5’9”’s “Street Hop” with DJ Premier, Saga has left his mark on the industry.
